Liability Waiver

Activities covered

This waiver covers all use of Sauna Strong facilities, services, classes, and events, including:

• Traditional and infrared sauna, communal and private
• Private red light therapy and leg compression therapy
• Open Gym, workout classes, and use of fitness equipment
• Cold showers, dump buckets, and other cold exposure
• The Yard and any outdoor activities or events

Assumption of risk

I understand that heat, cold, light, and exercise carry risks. These include dehydration, dizziness, fainting, overheating or heat illness, burns, cold shock, changes in blood pressure or heart rate, slips and falls on wet surfaces, muscle or joint injury, and in rare cases serious injury or death. I voluntarily accept these risks.

Health acknowledgment

I confirm I am physically able to take part. I will talk with a doctor before using sauna, cold exposure, red light, or exercise if I am pregnant, have a heart or blood pressure condition, a history of fainting or seizures, a medical implant, or take medication affected by heat, or have any other health concern. I will not participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

My responsibilities

I will manage my own session. I will hydrate, step out whenever I feel unwell, follow posted instructions, the Club Norms, and staff guidance, and tell staff right away about any injury or unsafe condition.

Release of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Minnesota law, I release Sauna Strong and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from claims for injury, illness, death, or property loss arising from my participation, including claims based on their ordinary negligence. This release does not cover gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Medical care

I authorize Sauna Strong staff to call emergency services and arrange medical care for me if needed. I am responsible for any resulting costs.

Minors

A parent or legal guardian must sign for any participant under 18 and accepts these terms on the minor’s behalf.

Severability

If any part of this waiver is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. This waiver applies to every visit until I revoke it in writing.
