Heated workouts, also known as hyperthermic conditioning workouts, involve exercising in a heated environment. These workouts are becoming popular among fitness enthusiasts and immense benefits including an increase in cardiovascular health, improved endurance, accelerated recovery and increased metabolism.
When you exercise in a heated environment, your heart works harder to maintain a steady blood flow throughout your body, which leads to an increase in blood flow and a decrease in blood pressure. This can help prevent heart disease and improve overall heart health.
Heated workouts will also improve your endurance. The heat increases your body’s tolerance to physical exertion, and over time, you may find that you can exercise for longer periods without experiencing fatigue.
Another benefit of hyperthermic workouts is that they increase your metabolism and can help you burn more calories. The heat increases your core temperature, causes your body to work harder and boosts metabolism, which means that you will burn more calories than you would during a workout in a cooler environment.
You have the option to do your own workout, ride the spin bike, do yoga or also select from one of our pre-programmed workouts on the TV’s in the Sauna Gyms. Sessions last 30 minutes and the temperate gets up to 165 F! You can adjust the temperate as you wish during your sessions.
